Our partnership with parents and carers is key to our success and their views are vital to improving the school even further. ‘School leaders have worked tirelessly to encourage parents, carers and the wider community to become involved in the life of the school’ (Ofsted May 2016).

108 respondents to Ofsted’s Parent View survey (May 2106) are ‘unanimous in their positive view of the school’ (Ofsted). In addition 91% ‘strongly agree’ that their child is happy at Heathbrook.

We constantly encourage parents to give us their feedback whenever possible and you can read some comprehensive comments on  Google reviews and the School Guide website.

Our regular and informative communication with parents and carers includes half termly curriculum meetings, for which learning information leaflets are produced. Termly progress reports also explain recent learning and identify next steps.

Parent questionnaires provide more important feedback.

Regular Parent Forums enable decision-making to occur in partnership.
