Year 6 Poetry Slam!
This week year 6 have been working hard on their climate change poems for Poetry Week. Their strong messages and passion are clearly seen through their performances.

Decimal number learning in Year 6
Year 6 are learning about numbers with digits up to three decimal places. We use a concrete, pictorial and abstract approach to learning so we began our learning journey today by using place value counters to make various numbers.
Trip to Maritime Museum and Greenwich Observatory
Today year 6 spent the day exploring the galleries at the National Maritime Museum and the Greenwich Observatory. Everyone had such a lovely day out and loved learning interesting facts about our naval history and our solar system.

Year 6 Leavers’ Jumpers
Our leavers’ jumpers have arrived! Year 6 organised an amazing fundraising cake sale last term which helped reduce the overall cost of the jumpers. Also, a special thank you must go to the PTA for their generous donation towards the jumpers.

Year 6 SATs Celebrations
After completing their KS2 SATs this week, Year 6 made their way to Battersea Park to celebrate all the hard work they have put in over recent weeks. They all had a lovely day out together, relaxing and enjoying their success – well done Year 6!
