Measuring the rain!

This week we went outside to measure how much it had rained since we made our rain gauges. We used funnels to help us pour the rain into measuring jugs and then recorded what we found in our books.

We have loved learning about Autumn this week! Our star words have been ‘deciduous’ and ‘evergreen’ and we have learnt their meaning.

We did leaf rubbings in the wildlife garden and made our own leaf men, it was great fun!

The Naughty Bus!

We have loved learning about the adventures of the Naughty Bus this week. It is a very funny story of a London bus that gets up to lots of adventures!

3D Shape Hunt!

This week we have been learning all about 3D shapes. Today Miss Jordan’s maths group went on a 3D shape hunt in the playground to see what we could find. We noticed lots of cylinders, cones, cuboids and even some triangular prisms!
