Year 5 ‘Garden Cooks’ busily harvested the ripest tomatoes grown in our Wildlife Garden.  Along with a few home-grown onions, they headed in to work on their creations.

Chopping tomatoes and onions, crushing garlic and cutting french loaves, they worked together to create their bruschetta.

Just a sprinkling of black pepper and some basil leaves and the brushetta slices were ready for sharing with all the other children in Starling class.

Thanks to the Year 5 ‘Garden Cooks’ and to BeCalm for the generous donation of the bread.
