Year 3 & 4 are making excellent progress with their recorder playing and are whizzing through their recorder karate belts. They have done a lot more work on naming notes (using flashcards) and rhythm work to help them play their music fluently.
The children have been working on creating compositions in line with their theme on Habitats.
They created sound mountains to plan their composition, discussed what sounds and instruments represented their habitat and illustrated the sound mountain in order to use it as a guide to play their music.
