Year 5s have been busy potting up herb seedlings to sell at our Winter Fair. Earlier this term, herb seeds were sown in the greenhouse. They used compost they sieved themselves from our own compost heap and painted plant pots too.

Following their decision to ask all children from Reception to Year 6 to vote for the next PTA fundraising project, school councillors have been working extremely hard to gather all their voting slips and count them!

Lots of families took part in one of our regular Saturday morning opportunities to enjoy our wildlife garden together. As well as plenty of autumn tidying, they also sowed herb seeds in the greenhouse.

A big thanks to everyone who baked, sold and bought cakes at our PTA Halloween Cakestall.
As you can see from the photos, lots of baking, lots of selling and lots of eating took place. The event raised over £260 too!
A big thanks to parents and children who mowed the meadow, cleaned out our raised pond and achieved lots more in our wildlife garden on Saturday. There will be another opportunity to get involved next half term.
