Hidden Heathbook 2019!

What an afternoon in Heathbrook Park! So many of our families braved the weather and enjoyed an afternoon of fantastic outdoor art and theatre activities. A huge thanks to everyone who supported our Friends of Heathbrook (PTA) refreshment stall.

Putting a roof on our pitch

The final touches are being made to our parent led all-weather pitch project. The roof netting, to keep balls inside and respect neighbours, has been added this week. It was admired by school governors on one of their regular premises walk arounds!

Model of Westbury Estate masterplan

Regular Secondhand Uniform Sale

Parents provided another of their regular secondhand uniform sales in the playground again on Friday. In recognition of different parents doing drop off and pick up, they run a before school and after school sale! Please keep leaving your uniform that is in good condition and you no longer need with the office.

Lots of families enjoyed one of our regular Gardening Together sessions on Saturday despite Storm Gareth and strong winds!

They planted summer bulbs, sieved compost, chopped wood, checked in on the frogs and newts and much much more…

What a Magical Winter Fair!

What a magical Winter Fair! A huge thanks to all the parents, carers, staff and children who helped make our Winter Fair such an enjoyable event last Friday. We also raised over £1,700 which will go towards new playground equipment, as
chosen by all the children with the help of school councillors.

Potting up herbs for fair

Year 5s have been busy potting up herb seedlings to sell at our Winter Fair. Earlier this term, herb seeds were sown in the greenhouse. They used compost they sieved themselves from our own compost heap and painted plant pots too.
