Exploring the Black Lives Matter issue

Year 6 have been sharing their thoughts about the Black Lives Matter movement.   They have been very passionate about the importance of ending inequality, prejudice and discrimination.  This week we have begun to create posters in support of BLM and in ending prejudice.

Returning containers for coffee grounds to the Coop

This morning a group of Year 6s returned empty containers to the Coop up the road. Staff at the Coop kindly fill containers with coffee grounds from their coffee machine, which the children then add to our compost heaps.
