At Heathbrook, we are deeply committed to nurturing creativity and cultural awareness in every pupil through a rich and inclusive arts curriculum. As a Lead School for Music in Lambeth, we proudly champion the transformative power of the arts across our community.

We believe in providing high-quality, consistent arts education. Our artist-in-residence programme and partnerships with local gallery, Studio Voltaire, the Southbank Centre, and local opera company, St Paul’s opera, bring professional artists and performers into our school, enriching our curriculum and inspiring pupils through direct engagement with practicing creatives. These collaborations ensure that pupils have authentic experiences of the arts and are exposed to a diverse range of artistic practices and disciplines.

We actively enhance pupils’ cultural capital through an enrichment programme that includes regular visits to museums, theatres, galleries, and cultural institutions, ensuring all pupils have access to the wider cultural landscape beyond the classroom. Through these opportunities, we seek to broaden horizons and deepen understanding of the world and its many cultures.
