This Week’s Learning
Week commencing Monday 18th March
We have been exploring the story of ‘Oh no George!’ and writing letters of advice to explain to him how to make better behaviour choices. We have also been finding 1 less than a number using cubes, objects, bus maths and bead strings.
We had an exciting end to the week with our trips to the Garden Museum where we looked at different artefacts and creatures and created our own gardens using wooden resources. We even tried out lots of exciting new technology like virtual reality headsets and microscopes with cameras that connect to computers. Thank you to parents that came along and helped it is much appreciated.
This week in maths we are looking at subtraction. In phonics Miss Hallstrom’s group are looking at phase 4 for example spot, skip, bend, tent. Miss Gerhard’s group are focusing on ‘th’ and ‘ng’. Mrs Mara is working on initial sounds and finding words that begin with these sounds.
