On Tuesday 2nd April, Heathbrook were invited to attend a workshop at the Tate Modern, run by the CLC. The theme was ‘Making Moves’ and the children had the opportunity to explore the relationship between natural and manufactured movement. The children had to investigate their own powers of movement as well as the power of imparted physical and digital movement through a series of free flow activities.
There were robots, animation, ipad apps, sound movement and puppets to name a few. The Y5’s really enjoyed exploring all the activities and learning new computing skills and vocabulary. One child said “I loved the robots!” She found out how to “debug” when the robot didn’t behave the way it was programmed too. A great day out!
