In Year 3 we have been learning about the Romans. We have used this information to write our very own newspapers about the Roman Invasion of Britain in 43AD. We have discussed what makes a good newspaper (including catchy headlines, eye witness accounts and formal language) and the purpose of newspapers. Here you can see us hard at work planning our catchy headlines, gathering facts and publishing our newspaper reports. We used lots of drama to get into character and really imagine what it would be like to witness a Roman invasion. This helped us to plan our eye witness accounts!
