Friends of Heathbrook (PTA)
If you are a parent, grandparent, brother or sister, carer or staff member you are automatically a member of the Friends of Heathbrook Primary, our Parent Teacher Association (PTA). Together we organise fun activities for our children, our families and our local community.
Our regular activities include coffee mornings, cake sales, film night & parent socials, maintaining and enjoying the Wildlife Garden, fun in our sports pitch, a volunteer readers group and secondhand uniform sales as well as our incredibly popular Winter Fair and Summer Fair. If you want to get to know other parents and carers come along to any of our events. Our latest news appears in the blogs below. Email us at HeathbrookPTA@gmail.com to get involved or find out more. A large number of parents and carers are involved in coordinating different activities.
Some of these activities simultaneously raise funds to support our childrens’ learning. Recent examples of this include buying recorders for all Year 3s, materials for our wildlife garden bog, sports equipment, arts resources for Hidden Heathbrook and the Year 6 yearbook. In addition, we commissioned a fundraiser to write funding applications for our all-weather sports pitch.
