Heath Kidz After School Club

The Heath Kidz After School Club is our own after school club and caters for all children from Nursery to Year 6. At the end of each school day, children join directly from their classes at 3.15pm or after attending an After School Activity which finishes at 4.15pm. During Heath Kidz, children can take part in a range of creative and physical activities. A healthy sandwich with a range of fillings is provided at about 4.30pm, along with a choice of fruit and veg.

Heath Kidz After School Club is open from 3.15 to 6pm. The daily cost is £14 for one child or £22 for two siblings.

Registration Process

We are extremely aware that our Breakfast Club and Heath Kidz After School Club are a vital provision for many of our parents. The pandemic has highlighted the importance of our flexible and needs-led process. We aim to do everything possible to meet the huge variety of situations that different families find themselves in. 

Despite our best attempts to meet changing demand, a sudden unpredictable surge in bookings can be challenging for us to staff at short notice. On the odd occasion that you are unable to book a place, please contact a member of our office team. However there may be days when we cannot guarantee a place for every child.

Staff will continue to facilitate coffee mornings at regular intervals to gather parent views about this provision and make further improvements. Previously parents have requested an advanced booking system and ‘last moment’ places for sudden unexpected family situations. 

You can apply for three types of place depending on your circumstances:

  • a ‘Daily’ Place – five days, Monday to Friday, booked using the School Gateway app at least four days in advance
  • a ‘Part-time’ Place – less than five days, booked using the School Ggateway app at least four days in advance
  • a ‘Last moment’ Place – booked using email admin@heathbrook.org by 3.30pm the day before (as we need to plan staffing in advance)

[Please note that if you are suddenly faced with an absolute emergency, there may be something we can do with less notice. Please call the office immediately, bearing in mind that it is usually only staffed between 8am and 4.30pm.]

Unfortunately, again due to staffing logistics, all booked places are non-returnable. For safeguarding reasons, places are non-transferable.

Note that a Terms and Conditions Form must be completed before any child can attend. When you have completed the form, please email admin@heathbrook.org in order to be invited to book via the Schoolgateway app.

To book a Daily Place;

  • complete a Terms and Conditions Form
  • use Schoolgateway to select and pay for the weeks you wish your child to attend (there is a sibling option for paying an additional £8)
  • select and pay at least four days in advance (i.e. before Thursday for the following Monday).

To book a Part-time Place; 

  • complete a Terms and Conditions Form
  • use Schoolgateway to select and pay for the days you wish your child to attend (there is a sibling option for paying an additional £8)
  • select and pay at least four days in advance (ie. before Thursday for the following Monday, before Friday for the following Tuesday, before Saturday for the following Wednesday, before Sunday for the following Thursday, before Monday for the following Friday).

To book a Last Moment Place;

  • complete a Terms and Conditions Form
  • email admin@heathbrook.org with the subject Last Moment Heath Kidz Club or call 020 7622 4101 and pay £14 via Schoolgateway by 3.30pm on the day before you need a place.

We will confirm a place by 4.30pm on the day before your booking or repay any payments you have made.
