Today Year 3 got to train like a Roman – the strongest and fittest army! We began with our 30km run (3 laps of the pitch) and then a short march ensuring we were in time with one another. We then had to practise our defence systems using our shields in our left hands: the Testudo (or Tortoise!), Orb, Wedge and Repel Cavalry to protect us in different scenarios during battle. We had lots of fun but tried to look very fierce!
