Today year 6 spent the day exploring the galleries at the National Maritime Museum and the Greenwich Observatory. Everyone had such a lovely day out and loved learning interesting facts about our naval history and our solar system.
After exploring the galleries we relaxed for a while in the beautiful surroundings of Greenwich park, where we ate our lunch and played games.
Finally in the afternoon we made our way to the much anticipated planetarium where we experienced a spectacular display. This included exploring the milky way, different constellations and even experiencing what it would be like to land on Mars and Saturn!
Check out some of our pictures below to see what we got up to.
