The final week of the year! This year we will be rounding up an amazing year with all of the children. So much learning has taken place and we feel so proud of all that they have achieved.
In Literacy, we will be finishing stories that we have constructed as a class. They are incredibly imaginative and are already looking great! Ask your child if they are able to retell the story to you to hear what we have been doing!
In Maths, we will be consolidating this year’s learning. Year 4 will be focusing on multiplication and division. Year 3 will be focusing on capacity (litres and millilitres).
On Thursday, we would like to celebrate the end of a fantastic year by holding a picnic in the park. For this, we would be really grateful if you could provide a small, healthy treat that we could share. This could be fruit, carrot sticks, hummus, popcorn, juice/squash etc. If you are unsure, please ask a member of the Year 3/4 team.
Please remember that school finishes at 2.15pm on Friday 19th July. Swimming will not take place this day.
We hope you have a wonderful and well deserved break and we look forward to seeing you again in September!
