Home Learning
We provide home learning to develop children’s independence and confidence, consolidating what is being taught in school and preparing them for future learning. We recognise that children and their families have differing circumstances and we aim to make our home learning appropriate and accessible for all pupils.
In Year 4 we encourage:
- Daily reading – at least 5 minutes per day
- Mathletics – once a week- set activities
- First News- once a week
- RockStars – once a week
- Recorder practice
